Welcome
Welcome to my blog to get this topic started lets see what you think of the following statement “The government’s e-Strategy expectation is that by Spring 2008 every pupil should have access to a personalised online learning space with the potential to support an e-portfolio (provided by their local authority) “

Not so much as to leave a comment but to raise a Question to you! What are your intentions to ensure "The government’s e-Strategy" is achieved?
A Concerned Teacher.
A few corrections to one of many ill written paragraphs. Please, the basic use of the English language is paramount in web design. Stick to your hobby and leave page design to people who know what they are doing.
Regards
As a network engineer I see this area of a schools ICT network which is often overlooked and forgotten as it’s out of sight, out of mind and is not physically used. Unlike some ICT support suppliers we charge the same rate for network support as we do for our normal support that could save you as much as 60% on network problems.
Network Support
Whether it’s replacing a switch or designing and installing a complete network we have the experience and skills to provide the complete package.
Network Installation
Due to the amount of work involved in a network installation these would normally be carried out independently of any support contract and would be subject to a site survey which would be free of charge.
REF: intentions to ensure "The government’s e-Strategy" is achieved?
Sorry its taken me some time to reply I had thought no one was ever going to look at this blog let alone leave a comment.
As for what my intentions are to ensure the e-strategy is achieved I am currently working with a number of schools to try and implement a moodle site within their websites.
At a personal level I don’t have the power or the position to influence the education authority let alone the government how ever if your school is in need of assistance please get in touch and I will help your school.
Many thanks for this post
With regards to the comment regarding using basic English, I am at college and I have been marked down in ICT for using what I would call correct punctuation, so perhaps the schools should get it right as well.
What is wrong with people having a go at web design, it's open to everyone not just a basic few.
